Thanks Bo - glad I'm not contravening any rules.

I have William Hamilton of Stockport 17th October 1791
Executors: wife Mary, John Collier and James Brandwood

NB: This man is a Quaker, and the two male executors can be found in Quaker records for Stockport. There is a burial for him in 1787 (the year he made the will) - age 60, therefore probably born about 1727. Widow Mary went on to marry John Collier in 1791.

Not one of mine so he can go to a good home. Very many names of 'Friends'. Will be of use to those with Quakers in their tree in the Stockport area. He had quite a bit of property to bequeath in Cheshire and has a brother Robert Hamilton, alive in Liverpool in 1787.

I will be back with more when I've dug them out.
