I have found my aunt and uncle's births but cannot find the marriage of my grandparents. (Ireland)
It is so difficult to search if you are not sure of the details but worth persevering and is free.

I've been able to find known events for my hubbies family, but not all events for a subject that would/should be presenting in that time frame. But I agree with Mutley, well work the look!! Loving that it's free of course!!

I've spotted my great grandfather's marriage.
Now, does anyone know how best to apply for a copy? I mean the €6 photocopy not the €10 certificate

I use the form obtainable via the website and send it via post. You include your credit card details on the form. The service is impressive. I've never waited more than two weeks before receiving the photocopy. I sent off for three certificates (photocopies) last Saturday.
Good luck

Thanks Andrew. I had my doubts about whether the form was appropriate but I see now that I just hadn't read it thoroughly
I'll give it a go.

Can anybody tell me - can I apply for a certificate even if I haven't got the exact details.
I can't find my grandmother's birth or the death of her mother 6 days later on the index but I do know most of the details.
I don't know exact address where they took place just the name of the village.
Will I be wasting my money applying for certificates (photocopies)?
Has anyone got a certificate and been pleased with the info supplied?
Many thanks
Joanna
