Oh I have just remembered my Gran Edith Hayman who lived with us from when I was 2 till she passed on when I was 19 would always say my Dad had his father`s Irish blood with the temper he had & I see Jessie A G Hayman was born in Ireland.

I see the links I gave to NAAIRS documents have all reverted to the search page - they were working eralier!
The first one was a DN for William Henry CAIN 1902, surviving spouse Frances Eleanor.
The second was a DN for Fanny Esther JACKSON, surviving spouse John James
The 1884 one was under John James JACKSON, where he applied for an appointment as a clerk and Zulu interpreter in a Resident Magistrate's court.Sue Mackay

Have found the Baptism of Albert Andrew JACK in Kelso, Scotland on 8 July 1815. He was the son of Andrew Lennox JACK, another Royal Navy Surgeon, and Arabella EMBLING

I realize that this thread is very old....but just to say thanks. Albert Andrew Jack is my 2nd Great Grandfather. Finding information on him has been very difficult.
