    Unhappy Bass family - Debden,Dunmow, Broxted

    I am looking into the Bass family from in and around Littlebury. Particularly a William Charles Bass who married Emily Porter in 1884 in Saffron Walden but lived in Littlebury and had nine children.
    I now know he came from Debden, as did a number of others with this name! I am trying to connect them.

    I have been stumped again with another William, (the above's Grandfather), William Bass born Debden 1823, married to Amy with at least 3 children. Would like to find his father.

    I now know that William's father was James Bass (from William's marriage certificate) and I believe he might come from Dunmow and was married to Amelia.
