    These are buried at nearby Wadhurst..... perhaps they are yours?

    Samuel PUXTY died May 7th 1781 aged 82 years. Also Mary, his wife, died July 26th 1781 aged 81 years. Also their daughter Elizabeth *

    Samuel PUXTY died December 14th 1775 aged 45 years.

    Thank you so much for that information Emma.

    The furthest I have got back so far is Samuel b. 1790 in Flimwell, but I will keep a note of this in case it ties up somewhere. I know another branch came from there, but as yet I have been able to tie it in.
