Can anyone help please? I have the 1851,61,71,81 Censuses but not 1841.
I've tried all sorts of searches and come up with zilch, so wonder if someone else can help as it's possible my source doesn't have all the records, or the transcript differs.
I am looking for:
William PUXTY aged about 26 (c.1815) depending on rounding up/down
Eliza PUXTY aged about 21 (c.1821)
Mary Ann PUXTY dau. aged about 5 (c.1836)
The area is Ticehurst (Flimwell)
Ecc. Dist of St. Augustines.
William is a Cordwainer/Shoemaker and all born in County.
I think that it's a possibility that the name has been mistranscribed, although there is another Puxty family in Ticehurst that I have found, but it is the wrong family.
I've tried the usual wild cards but have got nowhere. I should be really grateful if someone can spot them.

I think yours are the right ones Astoria. It fits in with the age and Eliza and mary etc and the new baby unnamed will be 10 on the 1851(unless it died) and the sister Deborah Whatsit aged 20 came to help with the baby.
Cordwainer is near enough shoemaker, both worked with leather.
I look on fmp and it is more time comsuming than A,,,,y. M
