Violet Ward daughter of Charles and Gertrude Charlotte Ward born 1920 nr. Ripon. Trying to trace her marriage possibly to Philip Able in 1943 in Lothingland.Have followed one false lead so any help would be great. Violet was my mothers half sister.

Thanks to you both for this info.Is there any way of discovering if these are`one and the same Violet M Ward` without sending for the marriage certificate?The birth record is the correct Violet as Blanchard is the correct mothers maiden name.
