I have a certified copy of an entry of birth from Liskeard, Callington in Cornwall.
The birth is for John Hnery Rowe born to Henry and Elizabeth (Stephens) Rowe 14 aug 1852. Block 7 is for the signature, description and residence of informant. This block says The mark of Elizabeth Rowe mother Salbash? Rowe Callington. I'm trying to figure out what that means. Does this mean that Elizabeth's mother is Salbash Rowe?
Thank you!
Connie

As you say, column 7 has the name and address of informant, in this case the mother. It will be her address after her name.
Could it be Saltash Row or Road, Callington?

Half a mile from the town centre is Saltash Road.
Try this link here for information on the village.
I'd agree with you Mona

It definately could be Saltash, maybe they accidentally added an e on the end of Row. Thank you so much!!
