Origins of Emily

Can anyone help me find the origins of Emily Nutt late Parker Formerly Rich. Long winded bit coming up.....................

The 1901 census has Emily and husband Arthur Nutt in Kettering, Northamptonshire. (transcribed on A.... as NULL,) Class: RG13; Piece: 1449; Folio: 148; Page: 38.
Emily's details say born 1874. Northampton.

Also on the 1901 census Emily's two (Parker) children (transcribed on A.... as BAKER)

With them is their daughter Agnes Nutt who was my Grandfather's second wife (married in 1940). Agnes's birth certificate has Mother as Emily Nutt Late Parker Formerly Rich.

Dora Parkers birth certificate (1893 Northampton) has mother Emily Parker formerly Rich, father George Henry Parker. I believe I have found their marriage registration and Emily is down as RITCH.

Emily and Arthur Nutts marriage certificate (1895 Northampton) has Emily's father as a William Henry HAMMETT, of 38 Beauward? Street, Northampton, Shoe Laster. Witnesses were William Elson and Agnes Elson

Can anyone tie up Emily Rich/Ritch of Northampton with a William Henry Hammett -

There is a birth for Emily Hammet .
1874 Northampton Q2 Vol3b p83
Can find nothing 1874 Emily Rich/Ritch.

She also appears on 1881 census as Emily L Hammett. Daughter of Wm H Hammett.

Ah..thanks Jane, I wonder if she started life as a Hammett, and where does the Ritch/Rich come from.

I had found a William Henry Hammett in Northamptonshire in 1891 but he is single. (or so he says...)

Thanks to Jane's kick start I have found this 1891 census.... Is Emily a Gray now.................. (Emily Ritch married George Henry Parker in 1890)
