    Default New here :)

Have started looking into family, so far have found a picture on here of my Great Grandparents Reeve Whitbread and Florence Bottomley also have found out that Florence had a brother called Roland Bottomley who was an actor (see youtube). Have managed to get back to James Garwood and Susan Havers who were the Grandparents of Reeve Whitbread with a help of a friend but would to go back some more from there

    Hi Sarah
As you have posted on this thread previously I have moved your new post from the Introduce yourself forum and attached it to this one as it is about the same family. This lets our members know just what information has been found previously so they don't waste precious time duplicating it.
You are wanting to find the parents of the couple below. Unfortunately it took place before civil registration so no marriage certificate available. Before Sept 1837 we are reliant on parish records
    Name - Susanna Havers
    Marriage Date 24 May 1831
    Marriage Place Brockley, Suffolk, England
    Spouse - James Garwood

Someone will be along to help I am sure.

Thought I would just post this link which has all the information you could want about Suffolk records prior to civil registration in 1837

    There is this baptism
    Susanna Havers
Born 1808 and baptised 21 Feb 1808 in the parish of St Mary Hawkedon
    Father - Samuel
    mother - Susan
Notes - Born 25 March 1807. Late Ellett (I don't know what this means.)

Hawkedon is only a few minutes from Brockley where Susannah and James married.

Late in this instance means 'maiden name'.

Possible marriage Samuel Heavers to Susanna Elliott, 25 July 1791 in Clare, Suffolk.
If you look it up on FamilySearch the results give quite a few other related people.

The only thing you can do is to send a further message. Perhaps she deleted the first one in error or simply forgot to reply.

The alternative is that she has changed her email address from the one she registered with when she joined BG. If this is the case, then I'm afraid you're at a dead end as we have no further contact details for her.
