Now, don't be shy. Have a go at the competion. It is open to everyone - including Newbies and Mods.

You may also improve upon your UK geography

We have had a few entries already but MarkJ's in-box can certainly take a lot more.

For clarification of Q 4, are they the "old counties", or the new Unitary thingies, or that A**n thing?

Phew, that's good....I hadn't thought about the old ones!

It was nice to know at least `one' of the questions without having to look it up!

    Hi Mark,

thanks for this quiz. as i'm a (fairly) newbie and missed the last quiz by a couple of days i have really enjoyed this.

been interesting looking at some of the stuff which i didn't know about plus looking at stuff i did know about but forgotten about.

    regards

Not just me - Jan was the main instigator of the quiz - I simply threw in a few questions and am the contact point for the entries
Glad you are enjoying it! We had a lot of fun putting together the questions

Thank you, Mark, but you did your fair share. We did have some fun, though, didn't we?

Glad to hear that you are enjoying it!

I've already said a 'thank you' to Mark whilst acknowledging that Jan probably did some of the questions too, but I'll say a public 'thank you' to both of them.
Great combination of what I call 'general knowledge' questions and some really quirky ones.
