Maps of Coastguard Stations

I thought I would just let those know who may be interested, that quite a few Coastguard stations can be found on www.old-maps.co.uk/

I found a couple for Sandra recently in Kessingland and Herne Bay. If you type in the place you are interested in and hit search it will take you to the area. You will have to `play' around a bit to find the sea, but then it's just a question of moving along the coast until you see the sign `coastguard station'. You can enlarge it too which gives a better picture.

This will also give you an idea of the remoteness of some of the stations!
