    Default New and confused

    Hi all

    I have been researching my tree for a few months now and think i have made some good progress, but i just in the last few days heard from my sister that my father may have had another child before he married my mother.

    I am not sure how to pursue this one.....i dont know if i can discreetly try and find out or if i will have to ask my mum for help on this one. My dad passed away five years ago so going straight to him is not an option.

    I am not sure what other info to post, or even if this has been put in the right place, am a beginner all round with geneology i guess!
