IGI has Thomas SAVIDGE m Hannah Fielding 20 Sep 1827 West Leake, which is only 2 miles away. No mention of the Hickling middle name though.

There are 3 death registrations for a Hannah SAVAGE at Loughborough reg district (contains East Leake), one in the March qtr 1842, one in March qtr 1843 and one in Sept qtr 1845 and there is a marriage registration in the December qtr 1845 at Loughborough, vol 15, page 252 for Thomas SAVAGE and a corresponding entry for Ann BOWLEY, so any of the 3 death registrations could be the correct one.

Eben likely to be Helen probably...does the 41 indicate male or female, I can't remember, I know theres no indication of relationships.

Eben is shown as a male in the 1841 census, aged 9, which is why I wondered if it was a mistranscription of the second John.

Eben is correct he goes on to marry a Mary Rose
and lived in nottingham and derbyshire but that is all i known so far.
