These are my great great grandparents. I am searching for their marriage. This is what I know from census information
William was born c. 1822
Maria was born 1823
1851 living in Staveley DBY
William aged 30 p o b Foxen Leicester
Maria aged 29 p o b leicester
1861 Staveley
William 40 p o b Bingham Nottingham
Maria 38 p o b Leicester
1871 Staveley
William 49 p o b Leicester Foxen
Maria 47 p o b Leicester
1881 Staveley
William 59 p o b Foxen Leicester
Maria 57 p o b ST. Margarets Leicester
on IGI I found a Maria and siblings parents George Stokes and Mary. have not verified from Register.
Their eldest child Eliza(beth) was born about 1845 in Leicester their next William in 1847 in Staveley.
