I have two deaths in my family file, both in hospital with usual residence shown as UDDA HOUSE, PETERCULTER (1939) and EIDDA HOUSE, PETERCULTER (1946). The parties concerned were closely related to each other (aunt and nephew), so I'm assuming it was the same place. But was it a family residence or a nursing home?
I'd be grateful for help from anyone with local knowledge.

Thanks for link. I know location of Peterculter. But perhaps my posting was unclear, I was hoping for information on UDDA (or EIDDA) HOUSE.

This is a very long time to reply, so hopefully it's still in good time. Apparently my grandma (a young lady at the time), owned/lived in this house. She was from a very wealthy family. I also am trying to find out more information about her specifically to try to find out who my grandfather is. It may be of some help to swap names of the peoples concerned. If it was a home or a place of care it is likely to be so because one of her husbands is the founder (not my grandfather) of the camphill schools in this area (Thomas Weihs). I beleive the current address of that house is 105 Malcolm Street, Petercutler and is currently named Richmond House (i think).
