Mary's parents where called Moses Sutherland (1756)and Jean Horn (1756)
and Moses Parents where called John Sutherland and Agnes Robertson.

    Hi, Lee
"Your" Sutherlands are already away from the Highlands by the 1750s. "My" Sutherlands are in Tongue Parish, Sutherland, where the records don't start till about 1785, and are very sparse till 1820s. So I doubt if there's any connection - or at least, anything provable.
