Need help dating 2 photos

I would appreciate it if there was someone out there who could help me date the following 2 photographs:

First One:


Second One:


A rough date on these photos would really help us identify which ancestors they really are,and we'll be able to indentify the people.
Ive tried plenty of times,searching Google to get help on dating photos looking at backgrounds,photocard types,clothes,hats etc,but nothing has helped me

The Museum of Costume in Bath might be able to help. Try them at www.museumofcostume.co.uk/ . They were helpful in dating some old pictures for me.

The second photo I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at - for the first photo, I've run through a couple of hundred dated photos looking at clothing and hair styles and trying to compare them. Don't take this is anything more than a guess, but I'd suggest 1905-10-ish. The boy and older lady could be a wide range of dates. The guess is mostly based on the hairstyle, shoulders and collar of the younger woman, though I can't find anything which comes close to the pattern on her blouse - which is why the estimate is speculative.

Well im really unsure on the first photo. Some people have said it might be from around 1850-1910,and some have said possibly later,but i really dont know.
The original photo was a small square one,and sepia in colour,like a brownish.

The second photo is more recent then that,im sure of it.
Family members that handed me that photo said it was of my GG Grandparents,named Lily & Austin

Austin b1877 d1947

It's not as early as 1850, the dress style doesn't look to be later than 1910.
