Hi,
I'm trying to find siblings & parents for Thomas Dubbin/s b.abt 1803 & John b.abt 1805 in Shoreham to parents Thomas & Ann. Searching forward in time is not a problem, but just can't seem to get back past this point.
Thomas b 1803 was a shoemaker & John b.1805 a lodging House keeper.
Thanks

From the 1841 census - Brighthelmstone (Brighton) HO107/1121/1/44/3
Thomas Dubbin 38 Shoe m
Mary 36
Jane 15
Thomas 14
Mary 10
Pricila 8
Fanny 5
Elizabeth 3
Jesse (male) 9
Aquilla (male) 1
All born Sussex
This is very likely the marriage of Thomas & Mary, from the Sussex Marriage Index.
Brighton, East Sussex, 27 Sep 1824:
Thomas DUBBIN, bach
Mary BUNDY, sp botp (B)
1841 - Brightemstone HO107/1121/1/24/6
</P>John Dubbin 81 Ind?
John 35 cabinet maker
Ann 30
Eliza 12
Emma 9
Francis (male) 7
Ann 8 months or weeks
All born Sussex
John senior looks as if he might be John's grandfather?
This looks like the marriage of John & Ann
Brighton, East Sussex, 3 Oct 1827:
John DUBBIN, bach
Ann BUNDY, sp botp (B)
As for the parents, Thomas & Ann they are not showing on the 1841. I checked for their marriage on the SMI & there isn't one so not married Sussex.

Thanks for these replies, yes I have this information, I was really trying to get back to the parents of John & Thomas . think its unlikely that there would have been a move from Cheshire down to Sussex, so I think Ann Roylance is a bit of a red herring-But thanks anyway, much appreciated.
Kind regards
