    Hello Helen
I've now browsed through my records, which are limited for the Goodchild family - the only thing I can add to your line are the following burials:

    Hascombe Parish Register:
    Burial
    Charles Goodchild - 2 Sep 1865 aged 18
William Goodchild - 21 May 1865 aged 26 (I'm assuming this is the same William as above).

I believe that Henry's father, William was buried at Hascombe 1st Jan 1842 aged 79 and his mother Mary was buried there 25th Jan 1849 aged 69.

My interest in the name stems from my wife's family. Her gt-grandmother Naomi Goodchild was born at West Clandon in 1869, the daughter of Edward + Adelaide (nee Bolton). Edward was born 1842 in Alfold, the son of Edward + Harriett. Eward senior being born Alfold 1808, the illegit son of Elizabeth.

Sorry I can't help further with descendnets of your line.
