Blackburn has some registers for the diocese of Blackburn on microfiche.
Accrinton Local Studies Unit has some registers on m/f but not according to the web site, St Pauls.

The dog was originally registered as Flash Harrry but we changed his name after he lost two big races at Belle Vue.

Well now!! I just caught up with the banter on this thread. I have not yet seen the marriage record nor have I sent for the copy as this is a shot in the dark and I like to be more certain before I spend the £7 + credit charges.
So if Heather(Hizzy) is still willing to look I would be most grateful. The narrowing down fo the date to the last 1/4 should help.
I am indebted to those people who are kind enough to search the records on my behalf and to all the helpful information I receive.
Thanks Jen
