Can't see anyone who matches exactly. Do you know his father's name or occupation?

    I can't find a Squire Naylor b. abt.1846, clogger, or son of a James in the 1851 & 1861 censuses.
The nearest I can find is a Squire Naylor age 4, born Sheffield, living in Brightside Bierlow, Sheffield, Yorks. in 1851, but his father is Samuel, a mason. In 1861 that family are in Murton, Northumberland & Squire's place of birth is given as Bradford Yorkshire.
In the 1871 census your Squire Naylor is living in Eccleshall Bierlow, Sheffield. The name Squire is such an unusual one that it is likely the families are connected in some way.

    Default Squire Naylor

Thanks for the information, I had the 1851 for Samuel and Squire at Farfield Brightside Bierlow there are around four Squire's born c1846.
I have found Squire at Farfield in 1879, but with the marriage cert. saying father James-clogger -it has thrown the cat among the pigeon's,
Have traced Samuel backwards to Pudsey but not being able to find him in 1861 came to a standstill, do you have the family members for 1861, is the mother in law Ann Illingworth still with them.

    Found in 1841 census 107/1298/12/26
Samuel Naylor age 25 stone mason ***
Mary Naylor age 25 wife nee Illingworth
    Abraham Naylor age 5 son
    Elizabeth Naylor age 3 daughter
    Samuel Naylor age 2 son
    All living at Marsh, Pudsey

Did you ever get the answers you were looking for? I realise this post was a long time ago, but I have information that will be of use to you and why you were struggling to find Squire's birth
