Ignore this. Different Eliza. Somehow I totally missed that Henry and Eliza have a Lizzie Robins born circa 1861 Gloucs in their household in 1891, as a "lodger", and the two girls Ellen and Emily are listed as her daughters. I blame FamilySearch's confusing census interface. Only noticed once I got more tea and looked over the record again.

I've seen some complicated families, and this one is certainly up there amongst the best - or should that be worst??

I tend to agree that Sylvia and Elizabeth are the same person, but I you probably could do with seeing everything together in a timeline, including info on birth certs, baptisms etc.

    Father Joseph,Haulier.
    Mother Eliza.

There are 2 images and entries for both girls.

Not sure if you're replying to my last comment there? If so its probably because I didnt phrase it very well!

I know that the sisters were two separate people, but I was responding to Kate's earlier comment suggesting that Sylvia (Samuel's wife) was the same person as the wife who used the name Elizabeth. But why she would do that is anyone's guess!

    Hi,your post was clear.

Also agree that it appears Sylvia used Elizabeth’s names.

I was letting OP know there were images of the baptisms available.

Would Sylvia have needed parental consent to marry as she was under 21 I wonder. Perhaps she borrowed Elizabeth's birth certificate.
