Researching Mary Plunkett

Good evening all,

I am trying to find out about my maternal grandmother, who was born Mary Plunkett 11/08/1900 and registered as living at 10 Queens Square in Dublin.

In particular, I would like to know from where, if still available, would be the best place to obtain an official copy of her birth certificate, which I believe I would need to progress an application for Irish citizenship.

Many thanks for the greeting and confirmation of my Nan's birthday. She always celebrated her birthday on St Paddy's day, and was occasionally a little economic with the truth, but as she became my legal guardian when my mother died shortly before my third birthday, and as a widowed-grandparent went more than the extra mile to raise and care for me, I feel sure she is looking down from heaven with the satisfaction of knowing that she did her best by me.
