The way I read it, is that you need to be signed up to the BNA's mailing list.
I am, and received an email saying that I could enter a competition to win a year's sub. Open to present subscribers as well as new ones.
Entry is as simple as competition rule number 5. (i.e. you have to wait until you receive an email giving you the entry link.)

5. Entry Instructions: To enter, click on the “Win a 12 month subscription” button within the competition email.
6. Entrants may make only one entry to the competition. All additional entries will be disqualified.

Closing date 10am, 19 June 2023.
