CONNOLLY Thomas died Jan 1914 Glasgow

A few very badly damaged pages, mis-filed in the MAR section of the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

Thomas CONNOLLY, joined the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders at Dumbarton, 9 November 1912.
Regt. No: 6690.

The only fully legible page (203088) details his death: "accidentally fell from a scaffold on which he was employed in the Dock Shipbuilding Yard here, into the hold of a boat a distance of 21 feet."

Odd. Normally if a serviceman died during the Wars, he still had a CDGC entry, but I can't find him.

There's only 1 Thomas Connolly death registered on Scotlands People in 1914 - aged 19, mother's MN Stanton, registered in Hillhead (Glasgow).. I don't have any credits left at the moment.

Lesley - The reason for no CDGC entry is probably because he died BEFORE the War - in January 1914. And as he died in Glasgow Hospital, that's probably the correct death entry.
