    Default Robert Green Bellamy

    Folks,
Robert Green Bellamy was b 1816 in Yaxley,Huntingdonshire, married Charlotte Crane in 1839 and had eight children, the second being Robert Green Bellamy b 1841 in Yaxley.

The family emmigrated to New South Wales where Robert jnr married Elizabeth Claxton in Maitland in 1868 and had four children.
Robert and Charlotte are alive in 1878 and in court regarding a friends will.
I have Robert snr death in 1885 but nothing for Robert jnr which matches.
    Open to any suggestions.

Have you found a death for Charlotte, as well as marriages/deaths for Robert junior's children, and also a death for his wife?
If not, is there a possibility that Robert junior emigrated to either New Zealand or came to England?

Have you checked Trove under (a) Robert Green Bellamy (b) Robert G Bellamy?

Couple of sightings including Charlotte's death, Robert Jnr and wife Elizabeth maybe going their separate ways and Robert Jnr being granted letters of administration at Robert Snr's death 1885.

Checking for "robert bellamy" (with filters to reduce hits returned) produced reference to a Robert Bellamy, Lochinvar, fined for indecent language - 5 Dec 1890 - possibly your Robert?

the Robert G Bellamy who died in 1885 (who you say is the senior) also had a mother named Charlotte, according to the death record - is that correct ?

    Folks,
By way of expanation this tree is a one place study for Yaxley.
Charlotte dies in 1881,she is Robert's wife not his mother.
I have not traced the children of Robert and Elizabeth. There are no family stories to work from, and online trees have nothing further.
    Have checked Trove.
    1890 may well be Robert.

The 1890 sighting of Robert looks a good bet.
Are these Robert and Elizabeth's children (with YoB and registration district)?

    Mary A, 1868, Patrick's Plain
    Charles William, 1870, Maitland
    Adelaide E, 1872, Maitland
    Emily Sarah, 1874, Maitland

Elizabeth appears to have left the family home 1875 - for good?
