Hi I'm Natalie I'm from Liverpool. I've been researching my family tree since 2003 I'm also helping my partner do his family tree. I have limited experience with military records and was hoping for some advice/guidance.

Welcome to the British Genealogy Forum, Natalie.
As you look around the site, you will see that the scope of the forum is somewhat broader than only military records. This site is owned by Forces War Records, but run mostly separately.
Have a wander round, find a suitable forum and then tell us about your research. You will see, at the top of most forums, posts marked "sticky" which will give you background information. Tell us what you know (eg BMD dates, service numbers, that sort of thing). Educated guesses are fine provided that you say that they are guesses.
We have some very enthusiastic volunteer members.
Above all, enjoy!
