    Default TV genealogy

    One of those “we find your ancestors” TV shows that airs (in Dutch) here in the sunny Netherlands has just admitted that they have twice linked the wrong families.. There’s not a lot of detail in the news site report at the moment, but hopefully more information about what went wrong will appear.
    Like all research, the best motto is “check, check, and even if it seems unlikely and no matter who’s telling you, check!

    Absolutely, Lesley, I think we've all been caught out at some point, particularly in our early days of research.
