I don't have time to look too much, but the man you are looking for may be Edmund Guy Harrington of Noordeinde, 93 The Hague, Holland, died 31 Mar 1961 at 3 Denbigh House, Hans Place, Chelsea. Probate to Michael Jonathan Bruce, Solicitor, and Somerset Bryan Gibbs, member of the London Stock Exchange. Estate was £13,500 and 11 shillings.
His will is available to buy from here: https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills
ADDED: See also here: https://apps.proni.gov.uk/WillsCalen...tsDetails.aspx
There are various references to him on Ancestry etc, and also the National Archives, eg:
https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C11940721
https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ils/r/C1136964
https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ils/r/D2560149
He is on various London Electoral Registers, including 1939 at Ebury Street, SW1, although his home address is given as Bourne Place, Halyport, Berkshire
In 1921 he is on the Electoral Register at 80 New Bond Street, but his home address is given as 3 Eaton Gate. He is possibly mistranscribed on the 1921 register at the Eaton Gate address as Edmund George Harrington.
Trees on Ancestry say he was born 21 Mar 1898 Iquique, Tarapaca, Chile to parents Edmund Falcon Harrington and Maria Elena Pascal-Valdes

Thanks very much, Jomot1. Should be a lot of time you spent to help me. About Edmund Guy Harrington : One year ago I received from the CBG (Dutch Central Office for Genealogy) a copy of a death advertisement concerning this person. Unfortunately they were not capable to show the name of the newspaper and date of publication. Also the Year of his death isn’t mentioned in this advertisement. The text was in Dutch, so I suppose it’s published in a Dutch newspaper. Translated it tells:
-March 31st died to our great sadness in London our brother, uncle and brother-in-law EDMUND GUY HARRINGTON aged 63 years. On behalf of Family. Denigh House, Hans Place, London, SW 1. The funeral will take place on April 07th in london. -
In respect to the information You provide me concerning his probate I presume he wasn’t married (?anymore?) and didn’t have any children. Will try to find this advertisement now I’m aware of the Year of his decease. With kind regards - Dick.

A little more information - this says he was an antique dealer at the time of his death:
https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...2333/page/3055
This is a further record of his naturalisation. I believe that Dora Amy is his sister, and (next page) Frederick Herbert Luis is his brother, all three born in Chile:
https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...2444/page/6976
I don't believe that Edmund ever married. In 1921 he and Dora Amy travelled together to Gibraltar, and in 1929 he travelled apparently alone to Tangier, Morocco. On both occasions he travelled First Class and stated that he had 'no occupation' suggesting he was independently wealthy.
You can purchase a copy of his will for £1.50 via the link I posted earlier, which may give you more information about his surviving family.
He was buried 7 April 1961 at St Pancras Cemetery (Camden), and it looks like 1 other person is buried in the same plot. For a small fee you can buy a copy of the burial record, including (for £2) a photograph of the grave. I can't post links to commercial sites, but search for the website "Deceased Online".
I have also found a little more about his military career. On 1 Oct 1917 he was promoted from Officer Cadet to 2nd Lieutenant, Royal Garrison Artillery: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...pplement/10563
On 11 Oct 1918 he was recorded as serving with the 308th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery and was admitted to the Queen Alexandra's Military Hospital at Millbank (London) with piles (!). He was discharged 25 Oct 1918, and it was noted that he was aged 20 and had completed 1 year's service, of which 9 months was with the field force. Against his discharge it says One Months Leave, so I take this to mean he was in London on leave.

Chris - you were right the first time.
The results you found in the 1939 Register were both for Edward Harringtons.
The only reason I highlighted the 'Edward Harrington' in my post #4 reply to your post #2 was in case you'd searched for Edward by mistake instead of Edmund. (So easily done. I've made similar mistakes, searching for a Fred and wondering why I didn't get any results when I should have been searching for a John. )
So the Edmunds need changing back to Edward. I'm happy to do it for you if you don't trust yourself.Vulcan XH558 - “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”

I have also done a newspaper search, and there are a number of photographs in publications such as The Tatler and The Sketch taken by Edmund Harrington between November 1928 and December 1933.
Most of these are of theatrical and/or 'society' people, including Ivor Novello and Mrs Evelyn Waugh. There is also mention (in 1929) that Queen Ena of Spain and her daughters had posed for him in his studios. A photograph of Queen Ena taken by Edmund appears in The Tatler on 18 December 1929

Returning to the Hague for a minute, WieWasWie has an entry for an Edmund Harrington in The Royal Archive. He's not the current target as he was born 31 May 1822 (in Ireland), Roman Catholic, and employed as a valet on the staff of Prince Hendrik from 1 Feb 1852-1 May 1853. Unmarried at time of writing. It lists 2 previous employers, starting 1843, and info about his employment with the Prince.
I'm wondering whether he's the previous generation - father or uncle?
There's also an announcement for the death of an Edmond Harrington in London on 1 Jan 1970, but I'm not paying to see the image of the entry.
