This is the same one I found with links to a Winifred Cavanagh.

    Winifred Cavanagh married Wilfred Jackson,1924,Withington,Manchester.

I don’t think the death we both found is your Isobel Winifred Jackson.

Pamela, I couldn't honestly comment on the findings until I find something to the contary. But I feel you are correct. I only know that she was my mothers sister, my aunt and my mother told me that Winifred Isobel was young when she died. Thank you for your input

I think my reply at post #13 already answers this. The woman who died in 1929 was the wife of Wilfred Jackson, Motor Driver, and she left a will.

Megan, I will check that out. The family seemed to have an obsession, with Winifred's and Isobel's. It could be one of my aunts. I will check that out. Thank you

Jomot1, Fair enough. I will check it and let you know. Both parents were named on the certificate. So obviously I assumed her surname would be littler. And when she died in 1956, on the death certificate and the national newspapers named her Winifred Barbara Littler. Her theatrical name, is Barbara Knox Marsh. Many thanks.

Jomt1, Yes that is correct. That was also my findings. Honestly, this Jackson family. It took years for me to find my grandfather, William Jackson. Thank you very much for your input.

It looks like Winifred Barbara was in Westhulme Hospital, Oldham 1939. Her name was originally shown as Barbara Jackson, then was later altered to Barbara (Ann) Knox-Marsh. DoB 12 Apr 1927.

Extract from a newspaper report -

Daily Mail, Monday, May 14, 1956
NIGHT CLUB QUEEN FOUND DEAD IN MAN'S FLAT
".... The spiritualist dabbling night club queen was found at 5 a.m on Saturday by her 48 year old accountant, Mr James McBournie.... Yesterday her stepfather, a Mr Hepworth, telephoned Mr McBournie from his Manchester home."
