Welcome to the British Genealogy Forum. As I mentioned, am am not an expert on this field, but hopefully someone will be able to help. In the mean time, You could try searching to see where the 91 Punjabis were during WW1, Also, many regiments had clubs or associations after the War. It may be worth searching to see if they did.

PS While I was waiting for something, I had a look online and found that Wikipedia has a section on the regiment - click HERE. It says that they were in the Middle East. There are some references at the end.

There are no records on the forum.
In Lesley's post, in the last line the word 'here' is written in blue.
Click on that word, and it will take you to the Wikipedia article, which has some references at the end.
After you've read the article, then click on those references to see if they will give you further information.

Ok i got it! I want to ask another thing that as UK government at that time promised after death pensions, benefits etc to recruited indian soldiers for war of civilisation. Is there any scheme or any platform for getting the pension or any after death benefit. I want to know about it. In todays time, UK government is providing pensions or any other benefit to the families of soldiers of 1914-1919 period or not ? I want to know where my Grandpa died, and other type of information related to him.

Anything such as a pension or death benefit would have been paid only to the soldier or his widow at the time. It's not an on-going thing down the generations.
The last survivor of WW1, Harry Patch, died in 2009.

A UK commercial company, Findmypast, has records for British India Office Army & Navy Pensions but there are no results for Bir Singh.

    I found this
    https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/...rmy-personnel/
You need to be aware that when they talk about 'war diaries' they are talking about the battalions, and what happened on a particular day during the war. Only very rarely will an individual be named, and then it's only likely to be a commander or officer. (e.g. General Singh then ordered the troops to march to Delhi.)

Wow, that's a real find about the Indian army, Grisel.

And, I hasten to add, about the British as well, though that section isn't relevant to this query.
