    Welcome to the Brit-Gen forums.
As you are actually looking for some information on Violet Agnes Goodridge I have moved your post from the Surname Interest forum to the Brickwall forums for the moment until we find out who her parents were and where they were born and if necessary we can move your post again.
I see from a tree on ancestry (yours maybe?) that Violet was born in Eaglehawk Victoria in 1891 and died in Bendigo in 1978. Do you have her birth and death certificates?
Just for others who may help Violet married George Edward Dowsey in 1913 and before he died in 1919 they had two children. Jean Dowsey 1916 - 1918, John Robert Dowsey 1917 - 1971.

If you can tell us exactly what it is you are hoping to find out about Violet our helpful members will have more information to work with.

Would it not be a great help to all involved if questions relating solely to Australia went on the Australia forum?
