I'm back with death certificate in hand (or on screen! I hope it's okay to post, too) My John Smith is definitely the one who was 59 when he died - so, I have given that wall a solid kick and may have made a very tiny baby step toward working out where he was born in Staffordshire. - if he was 59 in December 1859 - then he was *definitely* born in 1800! Surely that will narrow it down a bit?!?!?! His dad is also called John Smith - how hard could it be

Can anyone with more experienced eyes than me work out what he died from?
