I was a little worried there - could NOT find him on CWGC. He's listed as simply H Maslin with the data as you've given it, except that there's no mention of family anywhere, not even on the grave registration form..
    Only service number is 701712.
He's not in "Soldiers Who Died" either.

1911 census for Mile End Old Town shows Joseph (1858, IRL) with his wife Rose(etta) (abt 1861). He's a confectioner. Married 13 years, 2 children, 1 still living. This does not make sense.

1901 shows 3 sons - Albert, Herbert & Joseph with surname Green. Mind you, it also shows Harry David (5) son, William De Cassera (18) son and Maud De Cassera (11) dau. An interesting collection of surnames. The latter 2 are too old to be grandchildren. Herbert, Joseph, Harry & Maud in school.

Is a marriage for Joseph Maslin & Rose Davies; 18 Oct 1897, Haringey. His Dad's Benjamin Frederick Maslin

There's a 1902 directory entry for Joseph Maslin, confectioner.

1881 has a Joseph Martin (clear writing) with parents Benjamin & Maria, 55 & 53, he's a confectioner as is unmarried son Joseph (26), 3 siblings. All born St Lukes - I don't think Joseph snr was Irish, someone picked the wrong St Lukes.

Both are entered as previously married, Rose's father's name is George FOGDEN.

This seems to be the Maud in 1901 census.

Well done! Young Harry could have sneaked in as a child being raised as their child by his grandchildren. The all are accounted for!
