I'm getting a bit confused with this family. Looking on Ancestry there are a lot of hints for Joseph but I really don't know which is the right family and which is not! Most of the hints (including the story)have Joseph as an Iron Moulder but at one point it states he was born in Cheshire. Other entries say he was born in Belfast. Mar, his wife is also reported as being born in Belfast. One entry shows his mother as Mc Cardle and then another entry shows Joseph Hancock as being Joseph McCardle!
Paulanthony - I think we need more info, whatever you know about this family could be helpful.
