Could the difference in response be due to previous accounts/cookies on people’s machines?

I initially saw this on the lostcousins newsletter. When I went to the newspapers site it wasn't giving me access without paying. I therefore went back to lostcousins and followed the link on that page and have had no problem since - even when acceessing the site through google - it was just that initial attempt. I'm using Chrome so could be related to that?

I have Chrome on ny Chromebook, and an Android phone. Newspapers.com works on both with no problem - I just type it into the search box.

I'm using DuckDuckGo on my laptop and works fine but can't access on my iphone. It tells me how many matches there are but will only let me view by Free Trial.

Can anyone with a link to Newspapers.com that does work without directing you to Free Trial when you attempt to view matches please post it on here? Thanks!

Thanks for trying to help, but whatever I do, on whatever browser (Chrome, Safari, Brave), I'm just directed to the Free Trial (which doesn't show the text of the matches). I've given up now and assume it must be something to do with my Mac setup, as so many others don't appear to have a problem with access.
