Hi, I'm Julie or Jules. I've been researching my family tree on and off for 30 years, but have recently started looking into my maternal grandfather's (Army) war record in Italy in WW2.
I've got some records from the MOD but there are A LOT of acronyms and very little info on locations. Certainly proud of an act of gallantry my grandad took part in though.
That's how I found myself here. looking forward to making connections and learning. J

If you need help with all the acronyms typing 'army acronyms uk ww11' will bring up quite a few results and you may have to use more than one of them because there entries seem to vary.
If you need help with your genealogy research we can definitely do that too.
