on the 1911 census, which you've probably seen, are just Samuel,Sarah and Isabella.
I can't find them on the 1901 census.
There are some McAlonan births in the right timeframe in Ireland but they don't have the right parents. So I guess its just Isabella.

Is that the Scottish census in 1911? If so, did it have the same 'boxes' as the England and Wales one in which it asked how many children from the marriage and how many were alive/had died?

In the 1901 census, they're living in Dennistoun. Isabella's age given as 0.

I didn't expect you to pay to look at the image. Just wondered if you knew if the Scottish 1911 census forms were the same as the English ones.

not sure I've ever seen a Scotland 1911, but reading this article it looks like they asked the same questions - number of years married, how many children, how many alive
