    Default Dawes Photographic Studio

Could anyone tell me the dates that Dawes Studio 125b Northcote Road, Battersea operated please. I have a photo with their name on the back and am trying to find who the photo is of.
I am thinking it is my sister who was born 1955. I have googled it but nothing has come up.
    Thank you

I got a hit on Google. It shows a photo and address HERE.
The clothes look late '50s, maybe early '60s depending on where it was.

Yes I got that one but it did not say the dates, but I agree clothes do look 50s style. so I guess the photo is probably my sister. Thank you.

Did you search the 1939 "census" for that address?

Ancestry have a dataset called All British Phone Books, 1880-1984.

I managed to find Dawes Studio at Northcote Road in 1950, but when trying to find them in later years either have literally thousands of entries to check through or else get a zilch return for Dawes Studio - even in 1950. Which is ridiculous.

The exchange is BATersea(sic). and the actual phone number is 6102.

I am a numpty. Just realised as I've been typing that I need only look at a page with Dawes on it, and then scroll to Dawes Studio.
They were there in 1949, and still there in 1965. Haven't checked for later years.
Not there in 1947, and the directory for 1948 doesn't seem to be online.

Brilliant thank you so much that confirms it must be my sister and not my dad. Lol
