Default The Army, Navy, & RAF in the 1921 census

If someone in the forces is overseas, see if this will help locate them. https://www.

I found my soldier in England, though I think he'd only recently joined up. His age in the census is 20, but in actual fact on census day he was a month short of his 18th birthday.
    He was in Farnborough, Hampshire.
Using the advance options page, registration district Hartley Witney, number 109; registration subdistrict Farnborough number 2; and piece number 05812 will return over 4000 names with year of birth and birthplace.
Just don't blame me if they're not all in the Army, as there are quite a few women!

Further to the above post, after having attended a very interesting talk about the 1921 census given by Mary McKee from FMP, I learnt that soldiers who were in Scotland on census night were enumerated in the Scottish 1921 census. From what I can find out, that's due for release later this year on Scotlands People.
