I think National Library of Wales have the original. FS have the record under Lewis Williams and also Lewis William. NLW have it under Lewis William. In the catalogue he is described as a bachelor of Mynyddislwyn and Mary Phillips as a spinster of Llanhilleth. Date 15 May 1807. FS also name John Phillips as Mary's father. I don't know if the image would contain more information. Perhaps you could contact the NLW.

I hope it is ok to post these links.
Also although it appears that a Lewis Williams married a Mary Phillips in 1807 in Monmouthshire- do you have any evidence from Canada that shows your Lewis Williams wife was called Mary Phillips? Or has someone found the 1807 marriage and assumed it is the correct one..

Thank you so much for this! Yes, I now have it. Looks like them. Signed 15 May 1807. Both the groom, Lewis Williams and Mary's father, John Phillips described as "farmers". The marriage to take place in Parish Church at Llanhilleth Parish in Monmouth. Cannot, however, find the actual marriage if it was later or recorded separately. Nor any joy finding a marriage at the Independent Chapel at Penmaen.
As for missing baptisms, especially for their first born, Lewis, who was reportedly born in 1806-1807 (interesting date, considering the Bond is also dated 1807, hm?), I can find no baptism for him in Llanhilleth, OR in Monithusloyne. Ditto another child, Mary, who was supposed to have been born in Wales in 1813, four years before they came to Canada.

It looks like the marriage register for the year in question hasn't survived, as there's a gap between 1790 and 1813: https://www.familysearch.org/search/...tory%20Library
