Default thomas holland born approx 1795 upholland

Hi ,i am looking for ancestors of thomas Holland who was born in Upholland in approx 1795 . There are two baptisms on online parish clerks for a thomas in upholland one is in 1793 parents john and margeret the other 1804 father ralph . i feel the 1894 is a little late to be him . I have checked a census 1851 , where he says he is 56 He is married to esther Nee Smallshaw she is correct . any help would be gratefully received thanks

I have searched for a marriage and have looked at upholland wigan ormskirk and skelmersdale and haven't found one yet with a margeret holland . that's not to say she didn't use a different name on her marriage document . There's a marriage to a sarah derbyshire in 1790 in upholland but stuck at the moment with that . thanks

    1851 Census - piece 2201 Folio 27 Page 4
Thomas was a stone mason said to be born 1795. Also living with them are a number of grandchildren including a couple named Smallshaw.

Thomas and Esther married 2 June 1817 at All Saints, Wigan. No clues from the names of the witnesses, and also it simply says that they were of the parish and doesn't give their marital status.

A good baptism candidate is 22 Sept 1783 at Upholland son of John and Margaret.

I have moved this thread to the Lancashire forum as it's more likely to attract people who know about the area here than in it's original forum.
    Good luck!
