Through a basic search I have identified a marriage of interest. What information will I see if I buy credits to look in more detail - is it the certificate or a summary or an index or something else?
Thanks

You will get the original image. What date are you looking at? From 1855 you will have names, addresses, ages, occupations and names and occupations of both sets of parents (fathers and mothers). Before that date the images are from the Old Parish Registers and the information is much less and varies. You may only get the names of the couple.

Megan, I'm wounded. I wrote a whole post about SP, and left it HERE.
The descriptions of the assorted certificates are HERE.
The charges are HERE. The pay-per-view is a new thing, I usually use the old-style route with a bundle of credits..
Outside the usual "too new for the web" restrictions, you can download images to your own hard disc or save in your SP account.
Enjoy!
