I have just been using Ancestry Library Edition from home courtesy of Kent Libraries and was greeted with this banner...

Thank you Peter for making that information available to forum members. Actually, I wasn't aware Ancestry Library Edition could be accessed remotely from home, I didn't need to know as I subscribe to Ancestry World.
I did a cursory Google search and it seems many, maybe all? Uk libraries have offered (courtesy of Ancestry) remote access.

I received the message earlier today. It's been great having it available at home, although my first port of call is the site I've subscribed to for some while. Fortunately, the library is less than 4 mins walk away but that now appears a nightmare after having had it available at the press of a button.
