Cool Thank you for accepting me

I have only been researching for about a month and have made it back to 1100ce. Lucky I suppose I’m lucky that there was a lot of books written regarding my ancestors.

Ain’t history a hoot! I know my genealogy doesn’t really matter today but I sure like finding out about history. It has gotten me interested in castles, siege weapons, exchequer, tally sticks, and much more obscure things. I was just reading about a branch of my surname family that was killed by the convicted Kilkenny witch. Seems he lost his hair and finger nails before he kicked the bucket. History has a weird element, don’t it?
