    Good Day All

    I'm new to this site.... started researching my ancestors about two years ago and have to admit, I'm addicted (LOL)

    Found may brick walls who mostly appear to be British Soldiers in South Africa.

    Looking forward to learning and hopefully one day I'll be able to give back to others.

    William Potter
    B about 1850
    Marriage: 1 June 1887, Cape Town, Cape Colony, South Africa, Maria Henrietta Burch (b1866 d1965)

    William Potter married at the age of 37 years old to Maria (21 Years old) at The Castle in Cape Town.

    Looking to find out more about where he came from, who is parents were, when / where did he pass away.

    Greatly appreciate any and all hints, guideline and suggestions.

    Where did his wife die? In the UK? In ZAF? Do you know anything about their children?
