    Default Henry Walker born Eynsham 1862 Died 1886

    My Great Grandmother Mary Wickson 1866 first husband Henry Walker died in Eynsham Oxford Oxfordshire England age 24. Without paying for a death certificate can I find out how he died ?

    The short answer to your question is No, unfortunately. If he died due to an accident or unusual circumstances his death may have been reported in newspapers at the time or there may have been a coroner's report but if it was from an illness/natural causes then the certificate would be the only way to find out the cause.
    This is The National Archives guide to Coroner's inquests but none of them are online.
