John Alexander Grant 95th Rifles

Hi there one and all,

In need of some help and information on Lieutenant John Alexander Grant, K.I.A. 1801 on board HMS ISIS at the battle of Copenhagen. trying to find out his personal life i.e. D.O.B, location etc....
There was also a Sergeant William Grant and Private James Grant present although not on ISIS but on HMS Elephant. I also wonder if these two chaps were related, especially James.
I am aware that John Alexander was the first member of the 95th (formally the Experimental Corps of Riflemen) to be K.I.A. but there seems to be very little about him to be found.
