    Hi
Lovely to see you back on the forums again IreneH.
The censuses are, of course on the pay per view sites ancestry and Findmypast, and others but you can also search for them free on familysearch.org however you will only get a transcription not the original enumerators image. Find the censuses by going to familysearch.org and on the right hand side type censuses in the Find a Collection box then scroll down until you come to England Wales and pick the year you need. If you find what you are looking for one of us can always take a look at the original image if you need more info. You can also ask your local library if you can access their free ancestry or FMP version from home.
Just remember we are all here to help when needed. You'll soon get drawn back into this genealogy addiction.
I have looked on familysearch.org and Thomas is there with his parents and siblings and is a wheelwright

There’s also FreeCEN - very useful when you have a fairly common name and a group to select from.

Many Thanks ladies. Things not going to well in this Covid world for me at the moment. So if I don't reply straight away I'm not being rude, I just can't.

I'm at a loose end and have no appetite for doing the many chores I should be doing, so -

    1841 census
living Winterton, with parents Samuel and Elizabeth
    census reference HO107/649 book 19 folio 46 page 7

    1851 census
living Winterton, with parents Samuel and Elizabeth
    census reference HO107/2117 folio 72 page 2

Thomas Hall married Mary Ann Vardy on 24 February 1857 at St George's church, Sheffield.
Image from parish register is available on FMP in their Yorkshire Marriages dataset. (Though I cheated and searched the easy way by using the 'parish marriages' option from their main 'births, marriages, death, and parish records' section.)

    1861 census
living Sheffield with wife Mary (nee Vardy) and three children
    census reference RG9/3484 folio 10 page 13

    1871 census
living Swanland, Sculcoates, with wife Mary and hundreds of children
    census reference RG10/4777 folio 40 page 24
Note that Thomas' birthplace is given as Wintringham.

    1881 census
living Newington, Sculcoates with wife Mary, fewer children but an additional one to the 1871 list
    census reference RG11/4751 folio 113 page 16

    1891 census
    living Newington, Sculcoates
    census reference RG12/3917 folio 155 page 24

    1901 census
    living Sculcoates
    census reference RG13/4477 folio 160 page 38

Think this may be Thomas' death registration, aged 68, September quarter 1903, Sculcoates registration district.
Confirmed by the Probate Calendar. He died 16 JUly 1903.
https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills (When searching make sure you select the 1858-1996 tab.)
Ditto for Mary Ann, aged 73, December quarter 1907, Sculcoates registration district.
